As I walked out of the gym this evening, Dave Chappelle happened to be sitting on one of the chest press machines. I introduced myself and told him that he had made fun of me on his show, and he was genuinely amused and a little embarrassed about the whole thing. We chatted for a minute or two and he was very friendly. He seemed like a down-to-earth guy you’d want to have a beer with. Did I mention he was friendly?

You know, it’s easy for famous people to be jerks and justify it. The ones who are friendly are that way because they want to be.
