Attention again, please, Microsoft RDC team!

Mac OS X, Windows Add comments

This is CoRD.

It is free. The interface is better than your RDC client by leaps and bounds. How is it that a freeware developer understands the basics of how a remote control app should work, and the coders at Microsoft do not?

CoRD is a Mac OS X remote desktop client for Microsoft Windows servers using the rdp protocol. It is easy to use, fast, and free for anyone to use or modify.

You even have the CoRD code to start from. Improve it. There’s no excuse for the stupid RDC client you have now.

Sweet! Thanks for the tip. I find the Microsoft RDC client exceedingly annoying… it is like all the UI oddity of Windows, except on a Mac. ;)

And that’s why I have this page.

Thanks for the great tip Aaron.
That will make using our single PC Server we use for testing a lot nicer :)

Very nice. It didn’t notice RDC was slow until I used this. I would like to be able to folder up the machine or at least sort them in alphabetical order.

What a great fine though. Cheers Aaron.

Even better the back slash works. This might be a UK keyboard issue, but was a major pain in RDC!

Wow, I wasn’t aware that this little app was such a secret. I’m glad I could help all of you. :)

I’ll add to the chorus of thank you. This made some of my mundane Windows only tasks a lot speedier.
