Shoveling gravel and sand, raking, hauling heavy loads, laying bricks, getting brick dust in your nose and sand in your ass crack… These are the jobs only Mexicans will do, or so I’ve been told by people who think they know it all.

Not so at The Compound. As readers and friends may realize, we’re building a new paver stone patio in the back of the house, and during the past two days, we’ve done all those manual labor tasks, and I have the pictures to prove it.
