My friend Tim and I wanted to use the iSight to take some pictures of the waxing crescent and first quarter moon this past weekend, but the weather didn’t cooperate. Tim has the adapter for the camera built, but since we haven’t tested it, I don’t want to publish anything about it yet. I just wanted those of you who are interested to know that it’s an ongoing project and I will post some good astrophotos taken with my iSight to this page… eventually.

In the meantime, does anyone have any experiences or opinions they wish to share about Meade LightBridge or Meade ETX telescopes? I’d like to get a portable scope of some kind and I’m trying to assess the positives and negatives of those models and others like it.
