My very cool friend Paul Sahner sent me this grainy picture of me in a design textbook today.

The book is Designing Brand Identity: A Complete Guide to Creating, Building, and Maintaining Strong Brands (Hardcover). Just when I think it’s all over, my giant head pops up in yet another unexpected place.

Here’s the latest IE rendering stupidity I don’t understand…
I have some code for a simple web page that looks like this:

It’s the end of a table with a JPG graphic placed right below it. The JPG is also very simple, a thin field of gray that bumps up against a thin field of white, with rounded corners. I wrote the code and created the page using Safari as my previewer and everything looked fine. It looked fine in Firefox for Windows and Mac. But guess, just guess, which browser screwed up a simple JPG image that should be static. Yep, Internet Explorer.
