Compiling MTR on Panther (and Tiger!)

This hint is now know to work with Tiger as well.

Long ago, I attempted to compile MTR on Panther, and couldn’t. I wrote something about that failure on the MTR bug tracker and immediately forgot all about it.

This evening I received an e-mail from a total stranger, Andre LaBranche, with a solution to the problem.

I don’t think Rob Enderle has ever been right about anything in his life. If you don’t know who he is, Rob is the sole member of the Enderle Group, and he seems to make his living by providing thoughtless comments to any reporter ignorant enough to listen to him.
